Bali Baby

 Greetings, travelers!

I brought in 2020 in Bali and it was everything I could want in a trip. It solidified my love for Asia and had so much to offer. From iconic rice fields to pristine beaches to the friendly Balinese people, I simply fell in love.

I stayed at a hotel in Kuta and while it was enjoyable, I recommend staying in Seminyak for your Bali trip. It’s a better location, has better shopping and offers a better nightlife. For these reasons I’ll skip right to my itinerary!

Day 1

For day one we purchased a Full-Day Bali Island Tour Including Mt Batur the Sacred Monkey Forest and a 2-Hour Spa Treatment via Viator and it was a fantastic day! We had our own personal guide and saw sights such as rice terraces, Mt. Batur, got to visit a coffee plantation and enjoyed a spa day. My favorite part of the day was without question the Sacred Monkey Forest– the monkeys were adorable! Being able to walk around with them roaming freely was so surreal, and such an epic experience.

The spa treatment was my second favorite part. For two hours we were pampered and got to enjoy a signature Bali flower bath, accompanied with feet and body rubs.

This tour was when we discovered that most of our tours were truly private, and this was a major bonus for us. We could stop the tour whenever we wanted and did not have to add extra time to our day by picking up and dropping off guests because it was just us!

One other comment: this tour is extremely LONG. Again, this is when the private aspect became beneficial as we were able to politely ask to be dropped off to our hotel. The tour can last twelve hours!

Coffee Plantation–Bali is well known for its coffee!
