I’m Kiara… depending on the time & setting you may hear others refer to me as “KiKi”, “KiLoLo”, or simply “Ki.” I love to travel. What started out as me going to Miami or Vegas every few months has exploded into a huge appetite for unique and international experiences in 2016 and I don’t plan on stopping any time soon! In 2016, I turned 26 and went through a quarter-life-crisis & low point in my personal life. To get out of the slump I worked towards “The Year of the Passport” (as my friends affectionately called it). I had just finished accomplishing the 3 goals I set post-college, I had become a homeowner, paid off all $40k of my student loans and finished my MBA. It was time to celebrate! I stacked my money and in 2017 I visited 5 countries—Martinique, Iceland, Spain, Barbados & Germany. I was hooked. This year has been insane but fulfilling, I’ve been to Vietnam, Singapore, Italy, Croatia, back to Barbados (I’ll explain my affinity, its family!), Greece and Paris. I have a grand finale NYE trip that I can’t wait to share with you all next month 🙂
Often people ask, how can you afford to travel so much? How do you get your ideas where to go? What’s your favorite place you’ve been so far? Etc.! My goal is to answer all of your questions and more. You can do it! I am very strategic with just about everything in my life, right down to what day of the week I wash my hair and do laundry, LOL! And I think that’s what it’s about…planning your travel and it making sense. I will also try to do a blog for each of the places I’ve been, past and present.
I’m excited to share with you.
